A day of staring at the computer screen, talking with a busload of students; the first day is always the hardest. It was hours before I realised I hadn’t checked my personal mail or my blogs. After a week of sleep deprivation and endless cups of coffee, I am barely crawling towards the weekend and it seems so very far into the distance.

The great bit is that Guyana is having the three Interguianas Festival. There are a lot of shows lined up and I am looking forward to the culinary festival on Sunday which will feature  cuisine from Cayenne (French Guiana).
