This is one thing I have managed to get my head around, that is, setting up a temporary makeshift composter. And everytime I visit it with the day’s offerings of scraps, I find nestled inside, many frogs. They actually dig cave like structures within the scraps. I guess they are happy in there, so I won’t disturb them.

The new bin with a drip tap, is in the pipe line. A way to generate liquid effluent, rich in nutrients for my plants and compost at the same time.

It is interesting to note that there in an increasing awareness and acceptance of composting in Guyana.
