Now the cherry is what I really love. The small drupes look beautiful, when they are fresh and bright red. They are extremely rich in vitamin C which is better absorbed by human beings than synthetic ascorbic acid.

Malpighia emarginata or the Barbados cherry or acerola, is what I look forward to growing and crafting a bonsai of.

Having attempted a fruit concentrate (which was successful), next thing on the list is a jelly. (Much like a plum jelly, let’s see how that goes.)
