I have recently been left wondering why the tomatoes in Guyana taste so very sour.
People tell me it’s the excessive use of fertilizer. Perhaps it alters the soil composition drastically. Either way, since I have no way of knowing the ph of my soil or so on and so forth (too less inclined to research into that for now), I’ll stick to what some websites recommend. Usage of chicken manure for my plants, when I grow them, that is.
Also created today…… a compost bin ! Am ready to metamorphose all kitchen vegetable scraps into nutrient rich compost as well as yield less for the landfills around town.
