Easter monday is the day for kites and picnics.
People gather in the different parks of the city, at the sea wall, at the bandstand and other places and fly gaily coloured kites of various shapes and sizes.
The days before Easter are windy. It’s wonderfully pleasant and indeed a great day for flying kites.
We drove around a quiet city. There were a few businesses open. The rest of the city seemed to have been away for the long Easter weekend or picnicking away on the green grassy knolls around Georgetown.
